Alex Zyndorf is the Director of Commercial Real Estate at Model Group, where she leads retail strategy and oversees a 300,000-square-foot commercial portfolio across Cincinnati’s urban core. Since joining Model in 2023, she has guided leasing, tenant partnerships, and ground-floor activation across neighborhoods including Over-the-Rhine, Pendleton, Findlay Market, Walnut Hills, and Downtown. Alex began her career in New York City’s fashion industry before transitioning to real estate in 2017. She is a Cincinnati resident and active member of the urban core community.
What if developers acted more like accelerators for small businesses? Using Race Street Collective and other Cincinnati experiments as a case study, this interactive session explores new approaches to storefront entrepreneurship—from smaller spaces and shorter leases to mentorship and shared resources—and invites attendees to help design a better on-ramp from pop-up to permanent.
