The path to going live on ONDC runs from reading the specs, to building with reference apps and SDKs, to testing against mock counterparties and a sandbox, to certifying with Pramaan, to production. The open-source ecosystem provides tooling for each stage — browse the full set in the directory.
1 · Understand
Read the protocol and your domain's spec, plus the developer docs and FAQs.
2 · Build
Start from a reference implementation (buyer/seller/logistics) or an SDK; use a platform adaptor to bridge Shopify/WooCommerce/Magento.
3 · Test
Run against mock servers and the sandbox to simulate counterparties before touching the live network.
4 · Certify — Pramaan
Validate your implementation against the specs with Pramaan and the automation/Protocol Workbench, then go live.
