Start shopping on the ONDC network
ONDC (Open Network for Digital Commerce) is not one shopping app — it is an open network that connects shopping apps and websites together, so buyers and sellers can transact with each other no matter which app each one uses. You shop through any one of multiple "buyer apps" — and through that one app you can reach sellers and products from across the whole network.
What you can buy today
Pick a buyer app
Any one of these reaches sellers across the whole network — they differ in experience and category focus, so pick what suits you.
Paytm
Featured in ONDC's buyer-app picker; the ondc.org shopping pages redirect shoppers to paytm.com.
Mystore
Listed as a buyer app in ONDC's "Buy here!" picker on the start-shopping page. The source does not state its categories.
Craftvilla
Listed as a buyer app in ONDC's "Buy here!" picker on the start-shopping page. The source does not state its categories.
Your first order
Pick a buyer app. Different apps have enabled different categories, so use ondc.org's category picker (the "start shopping" page) to see which apps cover what you want to buy — for example, Paytm, Mystore, or Craftvilla.
Open the app and search. Through any one buyer app you can browse sellers and products from across the whole network — not just that app's own listings.
Check coverage. At this early stage of the network, not every app supports every product category or location, so if you can't find something, try another buyer app.
Place your order inside the buyer app.
Watch for order updates. Once the order is placed successfully, updates start arriving — and they may come from more than one company, because multiple partners are involved in fulfilling a network order.
After you order
After a successful order you start receiving order updates. Don't be surprised if the notifications come from several different companies rather than just the app you ordered on — on an open network, a number of separate partners work together to fulfil a single order.
If something goes wrong
The ONDC buyer pages crawled here (as of 2026-07-24) do not describe a formal complaint or grievance process, so we can't detail one from these sources. The only consumer-protection item they carry is a link to a Public Advisory titled "Advisory on Misrepresentation of ONDC" on the shopping pages of ondc.org; the advisory's contents are not included in the crawled pages.
